| The Copernicus Series |
| With raw canvas glued onto pieces of card, I drew inspiration from the veining and colouring of beautiful marble tiles in the hotel Copernicus in Krakow. |
| Several were done simultaneously, one idea informing and influencing the next and using any interesting media that came to hand. |
| On the moon there is a crater named after the astronomer, who studied at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. This connection led to the emergence of cosmic themes. |
